Hacienda Office Suites (formerly Florida Mansions) is part of the broader Florida Road commercial regeneration project by urban regeneration specialists Urban Lime Properties and will eventually form part of an entire block to be called Florida Fields. Situated at 281 Florida Road, originally built in the 1930’s as a residential mansion block the building was re-purposed as commercial in the 1980’s. Newly christened Haçienda thanks to the distinct Spanish style façade, the name is also a cheeky nod to the former infamous 1990’s nightclub of the same name in Manchester, England renowned as the birth place of acid house music.
Hacienda Office Suites have been fully refurbished and features strong contemporary art offering creative-type-businesses a ‘super creative’ environment with shared facilities, reception, meeting rooms, kitchen, bathroom and common areas. Small boutique retail units on the Holden Avenue side complete the offering.
Spaces that were previously used as garages have been repurposed into beautiful retails spaces. There will be street side seating for the coffee shop.
Garages on the ground floor have been refurbished into beautiful street side retail units.
Tenants enjoy the use of shared spaces available such as meeting rooms, a boardroom and kitchen.
The walls of this super creative space are adorned with artistic inspiration.
No design detail has been spared even in the more private spaces.
Status: Phase I complete. Phase II (which include the new streetscape) is due to complete by August 2017 and Phase III – including the opening up of the courtyard at the back to Florida Road as a restaurant – will complete towards the end of 2017.
